D-Lish July Challenge - Hello?

It was a case of third time lucky for this lo but I got there & in time :)
I started the background for this 3 times & for different reasons wasn't happy but here it is...
I think I have only missed one just add paper kit from D-Lish & this would definately have to be my most favourite one! Absolutely loved the little containers of sequins & flowers, that felt & hession heart is just to die for and the flairs & notelets...just everything!!! I still have heaps left & think I will make another lo just using this kit :D  The middle of the sequins and flowers look like glue in the photo but are actually white liquid pearls for a little extra bling.

Thanks for popping by & hope you have a great weekend..Jx

CKC 3rd challenge - panel cards

Well, the kiddies are back at school & I am back to my lovely little craft desk.
The third monthly challenge over at CKC was to make a panel card & I have to say that I have fallen in love with these little cards. They are so much fun to make & even my daughter has made one for her teacher who is going on maternity leave in a couple of weeks :D I think I have made about 8 this month now! hehe I wanted mine to stand up so have also added a little strip of cardstock at the back as shown in the last picture

These were so quick & easy you just have to give them a go! Anyhoo, thanks for popping by ..Jx

CKC challenge #2 - combining techniques

Hello again. Today is my second challenge for CKC which was to combine 3 or more techniques. On this lo I have used punching, gesso & altered some chipboard.
Interestingly, I almost always stitch on my lo's & I haven't on this one! Although I do think I will add some. It just doesn't quite feel complete without it :)
Here is a link for the CKC blog. There are some amazing ladies to check out!
Have a great day..Jx

D-Lish birthday challenge #8

Well, I may be running out of time to complete all the challenges but here is number 8!
My Dad & my daughter have a "connection" which I just love capturing when they don't know I am around.
The painting with plastic was fun. I used my dylusions for this & was really happy with the colour although finishing the whole lo was slow going until my latest D-Lish pack arrived this morning & the little plastic flowers just finished it off. I have also used a flair & some freckled fawn goodies. My journalling is inside the pocket.
Here is the link & image...

Thanks for popping by & have a great day..Jx

CKC - Triangle challenge

The first challenge for the month at Counterfeit Kit Challenge is to use at least 5 triangles in a lo. I have a small confession to make regarding this challenge. A few weeks ago I went to a scrapbooking night with the amazingly talented Leann Pearce and we did a layout with the background completely covered in, yep you guessed it...triangles!
So I used that as my inspiration for this challenge
I have had this photo sitting in my "to scrap" stash for so long, just waiting for the right lo & have to say, I am really pleased with the final outcome. So worth the wait hehe.
Thanks for popping by & have a great day..Jx

Counterfeit Kit Challenge guest dt for July

I was VERY excited & grateful to be asked to be a guest designer for CKC this month :D This is the gorgeous kit we had to counterfeit;

Loved the colours but the very first thing I noticed is that I had an almost identical set of stickers as the ones in the lower right hand corner so that was my starting point...
but I didn't have any maroon alphas so I included some white ones with my copics to colour them in. I have had so much fun playing with this & will be back soon with my first show & tell.
Thanks for popping by..Jx
