Hello, I love you (& a challenge complete just in the nick of time!)

Well, once again it is the end of the month & I am trying to cram in a couple of challenges!
This month has been a month of highs & lows. And taking stock of what is important. It is still school holidays here & I am trying to make the most of time with my precious children. That said, I quite like some routine so am not sad about school starting next week ;)
Anyhoo, now I have all that off my chest, here is my lo for the challenge over at Scrappy Canary. I am a newbie to this site but an instant fan :D
Here is the link and sketch....

My husband is from Scotland so this was the first time that our children had met their grandfather and it was such a lovely day. I have picked this photo up so many times to scrap it but this time it just worked. Sometimes it is worth waiting, hehe. And I also got to use some of my CKC kit as well.
Thanks for looking & have a wonderful day..Jx

CKC January kit

Don't you just love holidays. We have been doing a little bit everything & not too much of anything :) I put my CKC kit together about a week ago & while it is quite small & I am sure to add to it as the month goes on, I think I like it...
This is the original kit from Hip Kit Club & link to CKC...

I know I have some gold letters somewhere but couldn't find them at the time so I popped some brown ones in. I have not been a great fan of using gold so I probably gave them to my daughter :D
So now I am working on my idea for the first challenge. When we are home anyway! (Off again tomorrow for a few days.)
Have a great day & thanks for popping by..Jx

Surf Assessment - WW1 & Sketchabilities

Happy New Year!
Well, just a few firsts here - 1st January, 1st challenge for the year & 1st challenge for this blog...
I have followed White With 1 for a while now & love what people do with only 1 colour but just couldn't quite get the hang of it myself. But...new years resolution, put myself out there & have a go. So here it is...

The challenge is placid blue & white...
