CKC challenge #2

This is just a very quick share today for challenge #2 over at Counterfeit Kit. It is based on this sketch..

This sketch just screamed shaker card at me so here it is...
It's probably a little hard to see but there are flowers, sequins & glitter inside, the pink butterfly is on the background paper & the outer embellie is a little wooden circular piece which I have coloured with gelatos.
Anyhoo, thanks for popping by & have a great day..Jx

Exuberance - CKC lo with "scraps"

So a couple of days ago I made a background for a lo with my leftover scraps from this months CKC kit.  Well, here is is completed. This photo of my dd always makes me smile. And 6 years on she is still this crazy! My scrapbooking has no timeline or order :D
I had so much fun putting this together. My crafting bug seems to be in full swing at the moment so am just trying to make the most of it. Next challenge, here I come....
Have a great day..Jx

I finished my CKC kit!

Yep, you read it right. I have actually used up all the papers (ok, there are a couple of wee scraps left on the right) in my CKC April kit "Replay". Maybe naming your kit is the trick.
I have been on a card making roll this last week and had some bits still lying on my desk when I decided that what was left would make a great patchwork background for a lo. So here it is...
I glued all the bits onto some 12x12 and then trimmed it down. Can't wait to use it and have already picked out a photo so hopefully I will be back soon with my reveal.
Oh, & here are some more of the cards I made...

Have a great day & thanks for popping by..Jx

CKC - challenge #1

Good morning. Over at CKC the first challenge for this month is to pick any challenge you like the sound of. Something you love, something different, something new, whatever takes your fancy. Well a couple of months ago a new challenge blog called Kraft+ started up and I thought it would be rather fun to be able to say that I had completed every challenge from #1. Last month was only #2 & you guessed it....I didn't complete it!!! It wasn't for a lack of trying. I loved the sketch but got it into my head that I wanted to do a card not a lo & I just could not get it to work for me :(
So yesterday I decided that this was the challenge I was going to complete for CKC. I may not have finished it in time but at least I did finish it...
here is the original sketch.

Thanks CKC for helping me to get this done :D
And thanks for popping by & sharing a little bit of my world. Have a great day..Jx

Sassy Scrapper April challenge

I cannot believe how much scrapping and card making I am fitting in at the moment. I guess it helps that my daughter loves crafting and happily sits beside me, & football has started so my son is also in his happy place :D
Absolutely loved this mood board at Sassy Scrapper as soon as I saw it!
April Moodboard Challenge
The colours & the layers in the top right appealed to me, so along with a touch of sparkle, here is my entry...

CKC kit for April

A funny thing happened yesterday. I was cleaning up my desk to get ready to put this months kit together, putting away last months kit leftovers and some bits from other lo's I had done, & I noticed that a lot of the "B" sides of my papers were the colours for this months kit! So instead of cleaning it all away and starting again I got busy :D
This is my photo for this months kit - my desk! I did stack them into colour piles especially for the camera. Ooh, ooh, while I am typing this I have come up with a name for my kit for the first time ever - "Replay" :) ....
Here is the original kit courtesy of CKC & A Messy Boxx ...

And here are some cards that I have made for a girlfriend who told me last week that she is running a bit low...

Have a great day & thanks for popping by..Jx

my first share for April....CAS-ual Fridays challenge

Happy Easter everyone. Days like today don't get much better for me. We had family, we went to the beach, the sky could only be described as perfect and I got some scrapping time :D
So the challenge just went up for CAS-ual Fridays - krafty bouquets. The brief is kraft, flowers & twine and this is my take...
Some fussy cut daffodils, a glossy ladybird and some homemade twine (as I didn't have red I used my copic marker to get the two tone)
I hope you are all having a wonderful long weekend and will be back soon with some more cards I made today. Thanks for popping by..Jx
